What is ENCIGA?

ENCIGA is basically a Science Teachers Association which tries to improve the quality of teaching at non-university educational levels.

Its own structure takes as a model another present associations such as the british ASE (Association for Science Education) and the american NTSA (National Teachers Scientific Association).

It also takes part of the ICASE (International Council of Associations for Science Education).

ENCIGA teams up with Galician Teachers though it will receive with open arms the cooperation of teachers from any other place in Spain or even from a different country.
